Activities of the Guido Fluri Foundation and purpose of this website
The Guido Fluri Foundation pursues various activities, for which it often has its own websites. Information on the corresponding data processing can be found on the websites concerned. This website serves only to inform the public about the Foundation's activities.

Visiting the website:
When you access our website, we collect the IP address of the device you are using, the date and time of access, the name and URL of the file accessed, the website from which the access is made (referrer URL) and the browser you are using. This data is stored for a maximum of 6 months.

This data collection serves to ensure a seamless connection and the optimal use of our website as well as the evaluation of the system's security and stability. These purposes justify our legitimate interest in data processing and, where necessary, constitute its legal basis.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies (files or texts that are downloaded to your device when you access our website). We use - apart from the following Google/YouTube services - only functional and necessary cookies that enable us to operate this website. Specifically, we use Weblication from Scholl Communications AG, Germany.

Use of Google services (analysis/marketing cookies)
Google Ireland (based in Ireland) is the provider of the following services and acts as our Processor. Google Ireland, for its part, obtains the service from Google LLC, USA, (both "Google"). The processing of personal data is subject to a data processing agreement with Google Ireland Limited. If personal data is processed in so-called third countries (in particular by Google USA), the EU standard contractual clauses apply.

  • Google Analytics
Google uses cookies to track the behaviour of visitors to our website (duration, frequency of pages viewed, geographical origin of access, etc.) and creates reports for us on the use of our website on this basis. We keep the data for two months. We have configured the service so that the IP addresses of visitors are shortened by Google in Europe before being forwarded to the USA and thus cannot be traced. We have switched off the "Data sharing" and "Signals" settings. Although we can assume that the information we share with Google is not personal data for Google, it is possible that Google can draw conclusions about the identity of visitors from this data for its own purposes, create personal profiles and link this data to the Google accounts of these individuals. Information on the data protection of Google Analytics can be found here [https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en&sjid=11547348219620539369-EU].

You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser accordingly. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: [https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=e]

  • Google Tag Manager
Google Tag Manager is a tool that allows us to embed tracking or statistical tools and other technologies on our website. The Google Tag Manager itself does not create user profiles, does not store cookies and does not perform any independent analyses. It only serves to manage and play out the tools integrated via it. However, the Google Tag Manager records your IP address, which may be transmitted to Google in the USA.

The above data processing is based on your consent, which you gave at the beginning of your visit to our website. You can revoke this consent at any time [set privacy settings] and in particular not give your consent the next time you visit our website.

YouTube (external components)
We integrate video content from YouTube into this website. Our service provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The video portal is operated by YouTube LLC, USA. We have concluded a data processing agreement with our service provider. If personal data is processed in so-called third countries (especially by YouTube in the USA), EU standard contractual clauses apply.

When you visit one of our pages equipped with a YouTube plugin, a connection to YouTube's servers is established. In doing so, YouTube sets at least one cookie that stores your IP address and our URL. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your surfing behaviour directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account. You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser accordingly.

The data processing is based on your consent, which you gave at the beginning of your visit to our website. You can revoke this consent at any time [set privacy settings].

Contacting us by e-mail or telephone
If you contact us, your contact details will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your request and, if applicable, also processed by our communications agencies, Branson Kirk AG and Krauthammer & Partner GmbH. The data will also be processed by our e-mail provider or by our telephone service provider. The data you provide will also be processed by our external IT service providers and our server provider.

The legal basis for this processing is the initiation of a contract or the processing of a contract or our legitimate interest in responding to your request. If no contractual relationship is concluded, we generally delete the data within one year, unless you have given your consent to longer storage.

Your rights
You have the right to request information about the personal data about you we have processed. You have the right to object to data processing by us. If we process your personal data on the basis of your consent, you have the right to revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future. Furthermore, you may - to the extent permitted by law - request the correction, deletion or restriction of the processing of your personal data. Finally, you have the right to complain to the competent data protection authority.
